Sam Rosen
President, ATEK Metal Technologies
Sam Rosen has been with Ollin Plastics (formerly Solar Plastics) since 2014. After the sale of the US plastics facilities, he also took on the responsibility as President of ATEK Metal Technologies in 2023. Prior to joining ATEK, he has held a number of leadership positions ranging from fortune 100 to start-ups. Throughout his career, Sam has focused on growth strategies that create value for his customers. An active member of the community, he has served on multiple non-profit boards, When Sam is not working, he enjoys traveling and attending his twin's sporting events.
Nausherwan (Nash) Memon
Director of Engineering and Quality
Nash Memon joined ATEK Metal Technologies in June 2022. He has over 30 years’ experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing and has held positions of increasing responsibilities within the industry serving both domestic and international customers. During his career, he has been instrumental in improving casting process, new product development, Quality Engineering, and aligning product development and manufacturing processes. In his free time, Nash likes hiking and going to the gym with his wife. He also enjoys working on small home improvement projects.
Chris Damewood
Director of Operations
Chris Damewood joined ATEK Metal Technologies in December 2022. Chris was in the automotive industry for 25 years with experience in stamping and assembly, engineering, heat treatment of metals, assembly of complex components, and operations from receiving of materials to shipping of final product. With extensive experience in root cause analysis, material flow, tooling, and leadership of teams he is laser focused on driving world class results. An avid wood worker in his personal time, Chris enjoys designing and making beautiful furniture with his hands as well as spending time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren.
Heather Burrows
Controller
With over 15 years of financial leadership in manufacturing settings, Heather has the knowledge and experience to help drive strong financial performance in our organization. Heather has a keen eye for the finest of details as well as the greatest of opportunities. Her ability to blend her accounting knowledge and her manufacturing experience is instrumental in creating solutions that benefit both our organization and our customers. Heather holds the CMA and has a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa. When not at work, Heather’s love for adventure has her enjoying the sun and wind in her face while riding her Harley, UTV, and other outdoor recreational activities.
Dawn Sauer
Program Manager
Dawn Sauer joined ATEK Metals in 2016 as the Program Manager and is responsible for delivering growth initiatives for new and existing customers. Dawn is a senior professional with multiple manufacturing skills, she is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt, as well as a Lean Manufacturing expert. Her experience includes over 20 years of successfully manufacturing complex products. Dawn has worked on major OEM launch programs and has always had “the passion to win” by putting the “customer first.” When Dawn’s not engaged in the busy hustle of launching products, you will find her traveling, enjoying her family, cooking, and entertaining friends, and family.
Sairam Ravi
Engineering Manager
Sairam Ravi joined ATEK Metal Technologies in August 2022 after working for 13 years in an R&D role. Ravi's experience and expertise include new product/process engineering, melting practices and metallurgy, simulation modeling, additives and coatings, mold and core making processes and emerging technologies such as robotics and automation. Throughout his career, he has been recognized by the foundry industry for his contributions, including receiving a 'Scientific Merit' award, 'Howard Taylor' Award, 'Ray Witt' Award and six 'Division 4 Best Paper' awards from the American Foundry Society, and a 'Best Paper' award from the World Foundry Organization. Ravi is also an active member of AFS and serves on several non-profit foundry committees in his free time. When not working, he spends his time playing in a classic rock band and indulging in his hobbies of traveling and back-packing.
